Might need a longer/stronger rod eventually.. minimum 8 ft rod or 9 ft to take the stress out of throwing big baits. Especially if you want to consistently catch fish out of murray

That one moron on fbook that added a few of us.. Went thru some of his pics and he claimed he and his friend consistently catch 60+ inch fish out of the flat river every fall.. One of his pics mentioned a 59 and a 61 caught in the same day out of the flat, which were obviously murray fish.

don't use Titanium leaders as musky baits are to big for weak titanium. They will just break eventually. Wire leaders shouldn't be anything less than 110 or 120 lb i don't think

it would take a lot more than 200,000 for any of them to survive in lakes like muskegon, spring lake, etc.. especially a breeding population. With the amount of other predatory fish in those lakes i couldn't see many surviving unless they dumped a massive amount in there

The more reason for you to have a gopro so you can review the video, but then you would have the bad memories

im not familiar with border patrol there, but crossing over to canada through international falls is complete hell if you say anything wrong to them. Most of the time they make you take everything out of your car and boat.
