Budd Ice Report

Had Anyone in the area drove by Budd and know if it's open? Most of the lakes up here are still ice covered but I know the interior of Michigan will warm faster. I don't want to pull a December where we show up the he thing is still covered...

I use single strand for all my Jerkbaits. I have high quality components that I use to replace old ones if something wears out and I'll replace the single strand if it gets too bent or kinked. I also tie my own flouro using the Lee Tauchen Knot, but this year I'm switching over to Crimping since flo...

Chris why do you see many problems with the Corvalus. Pete, If I was just a few years later in my life and a tad bit more established the cabin on Benway would be the first thing I would buy and you would be welcome to come fish anytime. Only in dreams right now though, I'm sorry to hear you have to get rid of it. Good luck with your new opportunity, h...

Waterwolf,

There is a photo forum in the members section that has a sticky with great instructions by Will on how to post pictures. I always enjoy seeing other people's fish since I seem to catch so few of my own.

In the future just call Shimano customer service and request to make a parts order. If they're cheap parts they'll usually give them to you for free.

The weed lines on Ovid are pretty defined and after a couple passes you can pretty much cast right to the edge and have success. It gets frustrating at times, but if you focus on keeping your casts short of the weedline you will definitely still find fish.
