I feel your pain I had a similar incident I posted last year involving an 8 inch Reef Hawg and a 12 inch flouro leader. Big swirl, push of water, hook set broken 100# and never even saw it... arrrgggghhhhh....

Yes they can and do. Michigan is one of the few maybe only states that recognizes them as two separate fish. They are both simply different variations of the same genus and species.

Anybody running a Lowrance with DSI? It looks sweet but not sure how it will "really" work Looking at the 5x pro or the elite still trying to figure out why there is a 200 dollar difference?

I have a vibration in my Endura 55 as well they make snubbers for those to handle the vibration. I have also found some props just vibrate where others dont.

I do thumb mine all the time for a different reason involving cold weather and the failure of the anti-reverse roller which caused me to miss a nice fish. For those wondering if the roller doesnt engage on the type of reel I use it wont actuate the drag and the whole spool goes free... it was not co...

It really isnt IMO one of the things that has to happen on every fish for a person to be successful, however when you up the game to 53 or 54 inches and it comes in hot, that is when it will matter. Most people cannot react fast enough, and we all know how many of those shots you get in a lifetime, ...

Not only those reasons but it seems that the line pack is about the loosest at the very top and a hard hook-set can rapidly bury the line in the spool causing the aforementioned fish victory.

Take some high quality photos of the lures even in large lots is fine so we can see them and you should get lots of responses. Most of us need to know the make and color before we get interested.
