If somebody has a hex for that evil Metrodome, please cast your spell now. I had hoped to never watch another baseball game in that place again - and I definitely don't want to see the Tigers’ season all end tonight in yet another episode of cruel Metrodome voodoo. CRUSH them, Tigers!

No, I think I missed 'em, but that seems to corroborate what I thought was the case in years past. I thought once they opened this short-cut gate during the daylight hours in the fall, it was pretty much open for the remainder of the fall and winter. It surprised me a little to hear you guys say tha...

Thanks for the updates, guys. I guess I don't know when to expect it will be open or when it will be closed.

I've seen young muskies do it (not the gulping) in my aquarium.

Tom, You still have your Air Jordan's from middle school? That's great! I still have my "Air Flights" from seventh grade and can still wear them. In fact, I do wear them once in a while for pick-up games. No Joke! I agree with you, John E. I don't own any Saric videos nor do I get the TV show (sad, ...

Well, apparently I just guessed correctly when I picked out the sucker version of the Realfish baits. It looks pretty good in the water (and swims upright). I just need to catch something on it yet!

FYI - If you're interested...

Worst new lure for the year is no contest, a real laugher- the Real Fish Bullhead. Reeling at anything more than stupid-slow, or any kind of light pull, produces a belly-up swimming motion ! And all his whiskers fell out after about 5 normal cast/retrieves... The Realfish Sucker didn't give me the ...

Stomach Acid

First of all, Duke, I LOVE your post! It was predictable, yet you said it even better than I thought you (or anyone) could! I even told Bryan the other day that you would say that very thing! Besides, we all know that muskies regurgitate prey (what animal doesn't at some point) as others mentioned a...

Re: Torch Chain

Uh, I've been a member for a little while now. Forgive my sloppiness; at the time I wrote the post, I forgot I was in the "public" portion. I'm used to being in the members only section... Sorry. I'm well aware of the up-hill battles we face, and certainly aware of the local, wise, old sages who dut...

Cisco Spawn

Is anyone willing to chime in about his/her own experience trying to time trips with the cisco spawn - or pre-spawn? I suppose the 42 degree mark is a starting point, but I'm wondering if anyone has any experience meeting the ciscos and muskies moving in shallow (or relatively shallow) BEFORE the 42...

Congrats

Congrats!

After I began muskie fishing I soon felt as though I had never truly fished before. Don't be surprised if it happens to you!
