Is the ice gone?
I pass a few small ponds on the way home, and it looked to me like they were all open water this afternoon.
Can anyone confirm? (Not that it matters much since we have 25 more days of agonizing waiting, left... )

I'm guessing here that the pair with fuses in BOTH + and – are for the starting battery; the pair with just the + fused will be for the trolling battery. The extra fuse in the starting battery circuit is prolly to protect the external charger from the charging system in your motor, and keep the moto...

Where do you get them? BTW: the one in my pic is made with 100# fluorocarbon, and I used the knot below (which I found on www.thenextbitetv.com); it's a big PITA to tie, but it's neat and leaves the fly-end right up against and parallel to the leader's axis, which should reduce it's snagging on weed...

I still favor steel leaders with split rings but you've got a good system there. I would upgrade the snaps to Stringease snaps. They are the really tough snaps. Thanks.
