I must say that my Beckman finsaver net pen has been my best purchase this year. I'm glad my old Beckman fell into the drink! Seriously, the fish are just able to chill while you are unhooking and preparing for pics. The largest fish we put in it so far has been a 47" and he looked quite comfy in it...

someone can correct me if im wrong, but on most of our inland lakes here in SW michigan the substrate isn't proper for muskies eggs so they sink into the substrate typically and are lost? So wouldn't the goal be to search for the lakes with the best substrate for spawning in regards to stocking our...

Third weekend in February next time around!

I wanted to upgrade from my droid gps to something better. I picked up the Lowrance Elite 5 from a friend of mine and was wondering if anybody has any opinions on this unit. It has to be better than the phone app. which is a quick battery killer!

My first full season going after Muskies. Caught 14. Caught two that were 42" , my pb. Also caught a VERY fat 36" pike on Lsc with my father. All but three were caught with friends that were showing me the ropes. Next year will be the challenge to equal or better the 2010 season on my own.

If you are married, you ABSOLUTELY need to go to the muskies first site. Go to general discussion, find the "Sound familiar?" thread. Watch the cartoon and enjoy..............TOO FUNNY AND TRUE! You just have to change it up a little. You'll know what I mean. LOL!
