During this first season, 12 groups with a total of 201 visitors took this tour. Next year, FOWL is stepping it up a notch with a full Muskie disp...

It's a little bit of a drive, but my family has been taking our motors to Camp n Cruise since the early 80's. They've always done us right.

Not a chance. LOL. Gull's got some pretty big Pike. Heard of some up to 46". The suspended muskie fishery there would be sweet though!

This is awesome news! I WILL be there. I urge anyone who is remotely able to attend this. From what I've been hearing, it sounds like a lot of the residents/locals would like to see some bigger fish in there.(bigger as in bigger than the many little hammer-handle pike) Let's make sure to try to outn...

Meetings are open to everyone. As far as signing up new people, it's easiest just to do that online.

The meetings over the winter have been lasting about 1 1/2 hrs to 2 hrs. But then there's also some BS time afterwards just finishing a beer and chatting it up.

Well, Thorn is definitely ruled out for me. I don't like fishing mud. Murray is kind of ruled out as well, since I suck at fishing Murray when the temps are under 50 degrees. I'll most likely be hitting Campau for at least 1/2 the day, and decide on the other when the time comes a little closer.

Re: Alpha dogs?

tundrawalker00 wrote:Where does everyone think the alpha dogs fit into the season? Mag bodies with pounder tails?
I don't think it would be a seasonal thing but ratheran option to use on a lake were the fish have seen a lot of dawgs. Or, maybe in a stained water where a little more thump is needed.

My great uncle/aunt and 2nd cousin live on the lake in a summer home. Across the street is the president of the lake association, and her son takes quite a large interest in fishing for large toothies in Gun. He has caught pike up to 44" there, and other fairly large ones regularly. He's been trying...

I would've done the previous one if there were a couple things different. - One day tourney vs 2. A 2 day tourney is actually 3 days there away from home because of the meeting the night before. - If there was a point system like Will mentioned. Minimum size of the fish would have to be the MSL for ...
