Re: MMA BANQUET/FUNDRAISER 2016

Chris, it's all yours this year. I don't need a pair of them. He already has a pair. He's now going for the trifecta. Just like when I said I don't need two custom headlocks from Tom and sold the one I had to make room for the Atlantic salmon. Wills cryptic nature is rubbing off on all of us. Your ...

Re: MMA BANQUET/FUNDRAISER 2016

OK, here is my teaser. Of course I wait till the last minute to get it done, but steelhead season has been here, and those people procrastinate more than I do [smilie=gayfight.gif] Anyhow, This years banquet rod is a Tackle Industries, 9' XH. I of course did my normal custom split grip, using some i...

Re: MMA BANQUET/FUNDRAISER 2016

You guys are talking like it's already in your tackle box Yeah, and it it's already at my house! I will bring it to the banquet, to show everyone, donate a craps ton of money, then bring it home Leave the bait at home and just bring a check for $250. Haha, sweet! I'll bring it anyhow, it deserves a...

That double flaptail fits right into my recent obsession with catching fish on different/odd surface baits [smilie=crazy.gif]

Re: Restoration Projects

Here is a response from a while back about what this funding is going to accomplish: "By the way, I was involved in a wild rice planting that began in Muskegon Lake in 2000. It was a cool project. The rice grew, but the waterfowl ate it up before a self-sustaining population could establish. We are ...

Re: Restoration Projects

After trying to contact most of these groups, the muskegon lake watershed partnership is the only one that ever responded, She was pretty interested in our stake in Muskegon Lake. Anyhow, it's been a while and haven't heard anything from her, and then I saw this article today: http://www.9and10news....

Re: Campau/Kettle Lake Minimum Keep Size

As much as I would like to see the size limit raised on ALL lakes, I think the lakes that really need the increase are our few natural lakes, that can not be stocked. Campau, Murray, etc. are stocked ponds, with the only limit of replenishment being the number of fish the hatchery can produce. Incre...

Re: New sonar/gps suggestions

The original power drive pedals were super simple, but horribly unreliable... I think someone here may have had like 6 of them in a rotation... The new power drive is pretty good (haven't heard the problems yet, not that they aren't there), and the terrrova seems a lot better, but is about 4 times t...

Re: New sonar/gps suggestions

I've been using the 999 for a few years now and I really like it. Its pretty much the same thing, only difference is the screen. That is a great price for that unit. It really has almost all of the capabilities anyone would need, the extra sd card slot, ethernet, link, and a few other things. Able t...

Re: New sonar/gps suggestions

I'll plug the H-bird products too. I like their menu layouts and whatnot a lot better and I think they offer a bit more bang for your buck. If you have a compatible trolling motor, or if you are planning on having multiple graphs, the models that have ethernet capabilities can make for some pretty c...

Also added to this list, whether it should be or no, is Mona lake's 30k @ 1.38" and White Lake's 50k @ 1.3". WHo knows if/or how many of those are still living.

Re: Muskellunge stocking 2015

I see the PIT tagging on Diane and not Big Bear in otsego county... I suppose this is confirmation that Big Bear is off the brood list and Diane is on?
