That brings us to 9 or 10, anyone else? C'mon this is the first outing of the year, this is a good opportunity for new members to come and meet some people and to maybe offload some of those older lures you don't use anymore. One man's trash is another man's treasure!

Hudson Outing

With our first outing of 2010 fast approaching, I need a head count of who is planning on attending. I need to know so I don't overbuy hotdogs/pop/chips. Stand up and be counted!

Love that pic Brad! I never thought I'd see the day when a regular Mepp's Musky Killer would look big hanging from a muskie's mouth!

It's one of the keychain kind and I think they are rated to about 90#. I would hope that's enough.

Thanks. I ended up attaching the free end of the rope to a hole I put in the bottom of a plastic coffee can and looped the rope in the bottom and put the weight on top. Worked out pretty good.

Well I went and bought my supplies this morning and had it put together in a matter of 5 minutes. Roughly cost me $20-$25 for the parts and there was no welding. I'll try to get a pic up sometime today.

Yeah I saw that too. Nice to see Michigan get some press in the mag but hopefully it doesn't make Murray an even bigger zoo.

Unfortunately, I am the type that if I can build one I want to try. I tie my own leaders, make my own bucktails, built my bumpboard and am in the process of building a bait storage box out of Sintra. As easy as it would be to just buy one, I'm a slave to my need to build so I'll be heading to TSC to...

Lure Retriever Question

I saw a retriever at the banquet that was a large weight with a rope attached. I've seen a similar retriver on another website and I think this would work for me more than the Frabill one because I have such a small boat. What is the theory behind this thing? I'm having a hard time understanding how...
