Re: New sonar/gps suggestions

Might want to do some shopping today on Cyber Monday. I saw some on Cabela's around 300-400 off. I've been keeping my eye out for deals this week and found the humminbird 899cxi HD SI at cabelas online today for $599.99 making it $100 cheaper that the helix 7 si. Anybody have any experience with th...

Re: New sonar/gps suggestions

Thanks for all the replies, I've been leaning towards a humminbird because of some of the reviews I've read on the brand as a whole. Sounds like they've got it together. Plus, if I ever decide to upgrade to a minn Kota with ipilot link, I would already have a compatible humminbird.

I'm looking at a unit that cabelas has on sale, it's a lowrance elite 7 hdi that comes with a lake master chip, but I am also looking at a humminbird helix 7 series unit. I'm not sure if I should get down imaging, side im...

Re: Muskellunge stocking 2015

Just thought I'd share an excel spreadsheet that I have put together if any of you are interested. It contains all of the muskie stocking data from 1979 to today. I made a table so that one can easily navigate and see how many fish were stocked and the average size of fish in a given lake in a given...

Don't worry about not catching a muskie yet. I am in the same boat! I have not caught a muskie yet but I am getting multiple follows each time I am out. I have acquired a few "hot spots", just like everyone else, that I know hold Muskies this time of year, I just can't get them to strike! Remember e...

I found a good deal on a Musky Innovations Bull Dawg Rod that's 8'6" XH with a lure rating from 4-16oz. That should handle mags no problem and pounders? I have a second rod thats rated from 1-4 that I throw regs, bucktails and crankbaits with.
