did you try floating a sucker next to the boat? sometimes that will work, i havent tried it but from the sounds of it you put the biggest sucker you can find about 3 feet under a "beach ball" bobber right next to the boat. sometimes thats all it takes

thanks for all the replys! That picture helped alot. I have an old lure making tool, used to make trout spinners, that should work great. Any prefered length? I was thinking around 8-9 inches?

I would like to thank Will and all the other members who were at the michigan sports show. It was awesome to get some tips and tricks from people who actually catch muskie! Now I just cant wait to get out there and try some of the things I learned for myself.

thanks for the info. I have been going up there my whole life and know the lake pretty well. I was just wondering if it would be worth bringing up my muskie stuff. personally I get sick of walleye and bass fishing all the time, and casting big muskie baits would take my mind off drifting for panfish...

I thought thats why the harvest tag was introduced, to keep the number of harverstered fish down? Isnt it too soon to see if the new tag system effected the fish at all. I guess I shouldnt complain, more fish mean better chance of catching 'em
