Apparently, there's a 72" muskie that hangs out in the Moot every spring without fail. Surprising, as the story comes from a very educated and competitive bass fisherman that knows his stuff and has caught decent muskies in the past...yet swears the fish is as large as he is tall. Used to make my own, but now have John at Stealth make mine...even my fly leaders. He can make them faster and cheaper than I can do them myself and mostly, I trust him to make my leaders. I use 100 and 130 for fly, and 230 for every bait when I casted gear.

Yes it does, and then some. It's a great chip.

Lakemaster goes by state. Navionics goes by region...which you would want the North region.

Depends on the water you're fishing and what your unit will take. I use solely Navionics but they aren't always the best option for all bodies of water.

Have you called MinnKota? The shafts are "unbreakable" even though they do break. A buddy broke one just yesterday and he called MK and they said they'll fix it once for him out of warrantee. I'd call them and see what they say.
