As long as yer coming north you should consider finding somebody serious to take you out on LSC. Best bet by far for big fish. But not in yer boat, too risky in that or any big water.

Nope, no fish at all in Bankson. All killed off by wild-eyed locals. I shot a few fish myself, drunk on the water at 3:00am with a Q-Beam and a Ruger 22/45 target pistol. And there's no population of totally unpressured monster walleye in the lake, either, by the way.

If he doesn't have much experience casting for muskies you might consider loading the reel with heavy mono as opposed to the MUCH more expensive superlines like PowerPro. Recall that the less line on the spool the faster it spins as you cast, and the faster the spin the more prone to backlashes ...
