Has anyone been out on Murray this season? What is it look like?

Yesterday morning we had two follows but no takers on the figure 8's, that water takes so long to warm up being a spring feed lake, couldnt find any spots of the lake with water over 50 degrees. We will see in a couple of weeks.

Anyone else have any better luck?

Looking to buy some suckers for this weekend and would like to know what shops sell them. I am fishing Murray so hopefully a place closest to there.

Well maybe I have been lucky then, have 2 cardiffs and they have put in hours of use on big water and big lures and never a problem. Not disagreeing with you all I just have never had an issue. So from my exprience the cardiff has been great even after hours of continued use for days at a time.

I have to get the cottage open for the season, so I will be on Murray as soon as that Moon phase starts early on sat morning and then will be there until Monday morning.

this is always the debate, and it will never change. But hopefully the bass guys will not kill the muskie when they catch them.

Yeah if I saw that happening, I would have a hard time not doing something about it. Where were you fishing from?

How was it yesterday?

Action was really slow all weekend and when the cold front came on saturday with rain no one said they saw any fish as well. The water temp was around 50 to 54 degrees

Not to sure, do you mean at the very north end of the island? Is that the house you are talking about. Well if you are there this weekend we will be out night fishing early saturday. I have an older yellow colored boat with a mercury
