Re: March Everglades Tarpon Trip, again....

Hey Scott,

Are you using the same outfitter from 2013? I am going to be in Ft Meyers on business in mid march and am thinking a tarpon trip would be fun!

Well , Rebuilding the Antrim chain would be first on my list. COULD USE 50,000 of them up there. Indian river system, and Saginaw Bay rivers. On a side note they could put 500 in Big Blue Lake in Muskegon county  . I also echo Mayhem , Muskegon, White , Macatawa, Pentwater and on up the coast...

I just bought a new 70lb v2 w/o universal sonar or auto pilot for 650 so that price is awesome!!! On a side note, with the power drives you have to give up the foot control in order to put on the I-pilot, is it worth it? In a word, yes. I pilot gives you anchor. Gives you gps course replay/storage ...

Thanks Tom and Will. I'll be at the Portage meeting tomorrow night, I hope other MMA faithful from the area can make it. I'm thinking support our favorite proposal option and also tactfully bring up such possibilities as the Austin and Osterhout situations depending on how things go. Cya tomorrow!

Ok, truth.... A couple years ago a boated 18 muskies in Bankson, with 3 between 40" and 44", all the rest were mid-30"s. The lake is chock full of walleye that are REALLY hard to pattern. And because there's a decent population of big walleye, it is possible to find roving pods of really big perch....

Nope, no fish at all in Bankson. All killed off by wild-eyed locals. I shot a few fish myself, drunk on the water at 3:00am with a Q-Beam and a Ruger 22/45 target pistol. And there's no population of totally unpressured monster walleye in the lake, either, by the way. True what he said, you just ha...
