Can we go fishing?

Has anyone heard/seen anything about going solo fishing in a boat in MI with the governor's order in effect? Being alone in a boat isn't exposing anyone to anything. I confess to not reading the entire order... See the MuskiesFirst post by Slamr about an Illinois ruling: http://muskie.outdoorsfirst....

New bass fishing regs

I don't know if anyone else has seen this, but apparently it was approved only recently: Bass Fishing Season Changes: * Catch-and-immediate-release (CIR) fishing for bass is now allowed all year, statewide (unless otherwise closed to fishing) . Please refer to the printed fishing guide for waters cl...

Cheap underwater cams could be used to look for undersized fish that were discarded. I'm not claiming it's the answer to everything, but without effective enforcement, ...

Tightening up the regs and educating both anglers and spearers are excellent things we should be doing, but in my opinion the one critical missing piece in MI is sufficient enforcement. Here's what Wikipedia has on the percentage of DNR monies which are spent on MI Co's: ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wi...

Many people use a barrel wind with solid ring swivels on one end, like this: http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n124/hemichemi/Dubro2.jpg On the other end I put a solid ring like the Owners you have, and attach a split ring to that.
