trolling reels

I have seen people using the ABU 7000iC3 for casting cowgirls and other hard pulling lures. How well do these trolling reels work for all the casting?
Will they hold up?

Any suggestions for a good reel for casting these lures?

I have only fished it 20ish times the last three years, but I have seen police giving out tickets for it twice. I have seen more cops on that lake than any other lake I have ever been on.

I am sick and tired of the politicians bitchin more like little girls than getting anything done. Contact your local reps and let them know what you think of the job they are doing. I already hunt for muskie that wait to the last minute, now I am about to put a hook in states reps. Get on the phone ...

Are the eye screws the same as the ones at the hardware store. Or are the ones they sell any stronger?

lure making

Anyone have some leads to lure making information? I started carving some but not sure what to use for the epoxy and eye screws. Its still cold and the tackle box can't get anymore organized. Time to try something new. Thanks

Thanks

Thanks for all the info from everyone. Hopefully I can make it to one of the swaps at some point. I plan on joining MMA after the new year. King- Thanks I actually have tons of bucktails. We made a ton of them two years ago when we first started the hunt. Merry Christmas and Happy new year everyone!
