The economics of the license increases are very real and certainly not baloney. Regardless of the mistake in the estimate this year the money just isn't there. Assigning blame isn't going to change anything now. The fact is you can't improve declining license sales by jacking the price and I doubt that you improve revenue. Stupid DNR logic.... (soap box warning)
Would someone please tell me how the answer to fewer license sales is to raise the price? Only government uses that kind of stupid, flawed logic. The assumption seems to be that sales won't drop because sportsmen are so addicted to hunting and fishing that will just suck it up and pay any fee they ...

Won't work
Can anyone give an example where these types of bans have actually worked? Once in the ecosystem spread is almost inventible (see the Zebra Mussel). I really believe that this ban will accomplish little but to disrupt stocking efforts and bait sales.
