Since our founding in 2001, the Michigan Muskie Alliance has been the voice of muskie anglers all across the State of Michigan.

Through our work with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, we have made significant strides toward improving and protecting Michigan’s limited muskie fishing opportunities. Much of this work is detailed on our projects page, yet some of the most rewarding time is spent with Chapter members during outings at locations throughout Michigan. These outings and our online forum give anglers new to muskie fishing the opportunity to meet MMA members who are more seasoned anglers.

Meetings are another opportunity for members to network and learn from other anglers. During the fall and winter months, we have meetings that feature speakers discussing a variety of topics of interest to muskie anglers. These seminars can cover specific lakes, techniques or even how to build your own leaders. The meeting schedule and location is featured on the forum under the ‘Upcoming Meetings’ section. Our meetings are always open to the public, and we invite anyone interested in muskie fishing to attend. During the summer months, meetings are held on the water, usually in conjunction with our outings.
